Der Ortungspiepser wird per UNI-Stecksystem zwischen dem Empfänger und einem beliebigen Servo zwischengeschaltet. Bei gleichbleibendem Signal (keine Steuerbefehle) oder Signalverlust gibt der Piepser nach etwa einer Minute lautstarke Signaltöne ab, die das Wiederfinden des Modells bei Außenlandungen erleichtern.
